In 2024, the first of TNT’s classic albums “Knights of the New Thunder” celebrates 40 years. Just as long ago, Tony Harnell sang his first stanzas in the band. It must be marked.

TNT is doing some exclusive concerts under the banner “40 Years of Thunder”, including at the Notodden Blues Festival on Friday 2 August. TNT promises the audience a good selection of songs from the classic 40-year-old, and of course also a number of favorites from the rest of the band’s strong song catalogue.

What would Norwegian hard rock history be without TNT? The legendary Norwegian-American band has since the early 80s delivered iconic records, won prestigious awards and toured the world. In the process, they have sold millions of albums, with massive success in Europe and Japan.

“Tell No Tales” was awarded a Spellemann in 1987 for best rock record, in 2019 TNT was inducted into the Rockheim Hall of Fame and now it is ready for new tasks.

In the summer of 2022, Tony Harnell, Ronni LeTekrø and Diesel Dahl got together again after six years away from each other, and gave the fans a reunion with songs from a catalog that can match most international hard rock bands. The feedback after concerts at festivals such as Sweden Rock, Tons of Rock and Trondheim Rocks was brilliant, and both the audience and the press reported back about a band in top form with all their skills intact.

In addition to the Notodden Blues Festival, prestigious festivals such as Monsters of Rock in the USA and the Spanish Rock Imperium Festival are on the tour list of Norway’s most iconic hard rock band.
